English as a Second Language classes are offered through a collaborative effort of the Alvord Adult Education Program and the Alvord Parent Engagement Program.
Courses are designed for adult students who are at the early to intermediate stages of learning to speak, read, and write the English language. Participants will build essential life-skills and a foundation for future success in the context of family, health, community, school parenting and work life. Emphasis will be on skills needed to function independently in American culture.
