Collett Elementary School

  • Collett Elementary is an AVID school. All students are trained by their teachers to develop organizational skills to enhance their study skills and study habits. They are also trained in making 3-column notes for note taking. Students also use a pocket folder in grades TK-3 and a 3-ring binder in 4th and 5th as an organizational tool and for daily parent communication. Third, fourth and fifth graders are given an agenda to keep record of all their school work.  - Ricardo Chaparro, Principal.
