Registration Forms for the Expanded Learning

SUMMER Academy are now available!

Alvord Unified School District’s EXPANDED LEARNING Summer Programs will offer a free program this summer where students will be assigned to certificated teachers to provide targeted intervention in the areas of Language Arts and Mathematics.  Additionally, our programs will provide breakfast, lunch for your child, as well as enrichment and recreation activities such as art, crafts, music, sports, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) to participating students. Activities on Fridays will be fun, engaging activities on campus or field trips to local venues!

Registration will begin Thursday, March 9 and run through Friday, April 7, 2023 with the Academy programs held at select schools (see chart below); space is limited and subject to availability!

Transportation will be available for Foothill, McAuliffe, Myra Linn, Orrenmaa, Rosemary Kennedy, Stokoe, Twinhill, and Valley View Elementary School students, as well as Loma Vista and Villegas Middle School students. 

The program will run Monday through Friday, beginning Thursday, June 1 through Thursday, June 29, 2023 (excluding June 19—observation of the Juneteenth holiday)

• Summer Program for current Kindergarten to 5^th grade students will run from 8AM to 2PM.
• Summer Program for current 6^th to 8^th grade students will run from 8:30AM to 2:30PM.

Enrollment confirmations will be sent via your current

phone and e-mail information in AERIES.

Students registered after the initial enrollment period will be added to an interest list; parents will be contacted as space becomes available.
