    Our standard summer school program is designed for credit recovery for grades 9-12, utilizing a distance learning model using Odysseyware, an on-line platform specifically designed for credit recovery or a distance learning model created by teachers using Google Classroom, or another approved distance learning platform. Students in the summer school credit recovery program were identified before school closure and are already signed up through their school counselor.

    Session 1: June 1 - June 12 (M-F from 7:30 AM- 1:00 PM is when teachers are available to monitor and support)
    Session 2: June 15 - June 26 (M-F from 7:30 AM- 1:00 PM is when teachers are available to monitor and support)

    The following Odysseyware courses are being offered for credit recovery:

    • Health
    • P.E.
    • 10th Grade History
    • 11th Grade History
    • 12th Grade Gov't/Econ
    • Electives (see counselor for options)


    The following non-Odysseyware courses are offered for credit recovery utilizing a distance learning model created by teachers using Google Classroom, or another approved distance learning platform.

    • English language arts
    • Math: IM1, IM2, IM3, Math Intervention for incoming 9th graders.
    • Biology
    • Chemistry 


    Schools notified students of their summer school enrollment status by May 15th. Please contact your school counselor of principal for more information.

    If you are not sure if you're student is signed up for one of these courses please email your student’s school counselor or your school principal, immediately.

    Are there any other summer school programs available other than credit recovery?

    Yes. We are in the planning stages of a delivering a distance learning summer enrichment and preparation program from July 6 to July 31. It will be available to all students, TK-12, on a first come, first serve basis and will focus on mathematics and English language arts: 

    • Math enrichment/preparation for all interested students TK-12.
    • English language arts enrichment/preparation for all interested students 6-12.
    • Early literacy support for elementary-age students.
    • Arts enrichment


    How can I sign up for the summer enrichment and preparation program?

    An email from school principals will be sent with additional details on the program. All students are welcome to participate. If you cannot locate the email please email your school 2020-21 school principal or email educational services for learn about next steps.

    Will students be able to get a laptop or hold on to the loaner laptop? 
    Yes. Please contact your current principal for details on securing a loaner laptop.

    What if students have no wifi access? 
    Please contact your current principal for details on wifi connectivity.
