The California Cadet Corps is a school-based applied leadership program conducted within a military framework founded in 1911.
As a cadet, you have the opportunity to provide assistance and support to your school and community through color gaurds, participation in parades, serving as student leaders and peer mentors, and training junior cadets.
**Cadet Corps is also a substitute for PE**

Our mission is to provide California Schools and students with a quality educational and leadership development program that prrepares students for success in college and the work force.
As a cadet, you can expect to consistently:
- Excel academically compared to your peers
- Have better attendance
- Contribute to school safety
- Have fewer suspensions and expulsions
- See improved scores on the California academic standardized tests
