Risk & Emergency Management and Benefits 

  • The Alvord Risk Management department is responsible for oversight of programs including a self-insured workers' compensation program; a comprehensive property and liability program designed to protect the financial well-being of the district; a school safety program designed to protect students and staff by providing training, site inspections, and emergency preparedness practices.  Risk Management is also responsible for administering employee benefit programs for active and retired employees, designed to protect the health and well-being of employees and their families.
