Meet your Riverside City College Educational Advisor for Adult Education – Kristopher Acevedo!
Kristopher has been tutoring, mentoring, advising, and instructing students here at Riverside City College since 2015, as a previous Tutor and Mentor for the Disability Resource Center, previous Educational Advisor for Athletics, and current Educational Advisor for Adult Education, Associate Faculty member for the Communication Studies Department, and Faculty Mentor for the Puente Club and LGBTQ+ Association for Student Success & Equity (LASSE) Program.
Kristopher earned his Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies with a Minor in Education from the University of California, Riverside, and earned his Master of Arts in Communication with an Emphasis in Education from Grand Canyon University. Kristopher also works with students from the Riverside community, such as students from Alvord Adult School, Riverside Adult School, Jurupa Adult School, Riverside County Office of Education, and the Youth Treatment and Education Center, and assists them with transferring to Riverside City College – Go RCC Tigers!
