Classified Benefits

Classified employees who work the equivalent of 6 or more hours per day, and their qualifying dependents, are eligible to enroll in Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage. Plan costs are subject to change each year and depend on the benefits package selected. The benefits options currently offered include:

• Kaiser Permanente HMO
• Kaiser Permanente DHMO (HMO with a deductible)
• Blue Shield HMO
• Blue Shield Save Net (Local Access Plan) HMO
• Blue Shield PPO G20
• Blue Shield PPO G30
• Delta Dental PPO
• Anthem Dental PPO
• Delta Care HMO
• Eye Med Vision PPO

Additionally, Classified employees who work the equivalent of 6 or more hours per day are enrolled in a long term disability policy with American Fidelity at no cost.

All regular Classified employees, regardless of the number of hours worked per day, are eligible for a $20,000 life insurance policy at no cost. The Basic Life Enrollment Form must be completed and returned to claim this coverage.
